Sourcing & Quality
Consistently High-Grade Activated Carbon
Our granular activated carbon is produced exclusively from coconut shell feedstock at partner facilities in India. Each production run is tested against a comprehensive specification sheet before export, and a Certificate of Analysis accompanies every shipment.
We stock standard mesh grades suitable for most liquid and vapour-phase applications, and can facilitate custom specifications for customers with particular process requirements. Contact us to discuss your technical needs.

Acid-Washed Grade
Low-ash, acid-washed activated carbon for applications sensitive to leachable metals and minerals. Ideal for pharmaceutical and food-grade processing where product purity is critical.
High-Iodine Grade
Enhanced adsorption capacity with iodine numbers ≥ 1100 mg/g. Selected for applications requiring maximum uptake efficiency from smaller carbon volumes — suited to high-load water treatment.
Custom Specification
Have a process requirement that doesn't match a standard grade? We work with our production partners to supply carbon to your exact mesh size, iodine value, or other parameter.

Every shipment from VerdantIsle Traders is accompanied by a full Certificate of Analysis. Our CoA covers:
- Iodine number (mg/g) — primary measure of adsorption capacity
- Mesh size distribution — particle size conformance
- Ash content (%) — inorganic residue after combustion
- Moisture content (%) — as-received water content
- Hardness number (%) — resistance to particle degradation
- Bulk density (g/L) — for vessel sizing and dosing calculations
